Rangiata Sky is pleased to confirm every remaining All Blacks test on their 2024 Northern Tour will be broadcast with te reo Māori commentary over the coming weeks.

Following the recent te reo Māori broadcasts of All Blacks fixtures against Australia and Japan, Rangiata Sky is set to have live te reo Māori coverage of the final three All Blacks tests of the year across its Sky Sport channels.

Tūmamao Harawira (Ngāpuhi, Te Whānau a Apanui) and Tamati Waaka (Ngāi Tūhoe, Te Whānau a Apanui) return to provide te reo Māori commentary for this weekend’s clash between the All Blacks and Ireland at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, live on Sky Sport 2 from 9am Saturday, 9 November NZT.

Rangiata Sky’s reo Māori coverage of the upcoming All Blacks tests extends throughout the month for the side’s season-ending matches against France at Stade de France in Paris on 17 November NZT, and Italy at Allianz Stadium in Turin on 24 November NZT.

Te reo Māori commentators for these fixtures will be confirmed in due course.
English commentary for all three games will be available on Sky Sport 1. Grant Nisbett leads this Saturday’s English broadcast of the Ireland match in what will be his 350th All Blacks test as a commentator, alongside All Blacks great Jeff Wilson.

Tony Johnson then takes the reins for the France clash, before Jeff McTainsh calls his first-ever All Blacks test when they close out their season against Italy. Jeff Wilson will accompany them both for each match.

Sky Open will have free-to-air delayed coverage of all three matches with English commentary.
Confirmation of bilingual coverage for the last three All Blacks tests of the year add to Rangiata Sky’s wide selection of live sport events that have been broadcast with English and te reo Māori commentary throughout this year.

This includes the 2024 NRL All-Stars fixtures, the Māori All Blacks’ tour of Japan, the Bledisloe Cup series between the All Blacks and Wallabies, last month’s test between the All Blacks and Japan, and last weekend’s Pacific Championship thriller between the Kiwis and Tonga.

Outside of its live broadcasts, Rangiata Sky’s programming around the All Blacks’ Northern Tour has been further bolstered by the inclusion of some special broadcasts to its scheduling.
Leading up to this week’s test in Dublin, Sky Sport will premiere Defender: The Ireland Saga on Sky Sport 1 at 7:30pm Thursday, 7 November.

A decade ago, Ireland had never beaten the All Blacks. Now it's one of the great rugby rivalries. Jeff Wilson joins Ryan Crotty, Aaron Cruden, and Angus Ta’avao, who have all been involved in major clashes against Ireland in recent years, to look back on how everything has changed.

Additionally, Laura McGoldrick and Kirstie Stanway will host Northern Tour Preview Show alongside Jeff Wilson, Mils Muliaina, Aaron Cruden, and Angus Ta’avao as they provide special previews prior to each of the final three All Blacks tests of the year.

This week’s Northern Tour Preview Show ahead of the Ireland test, featuring Sir John Kirwan and Taylah Johnson live on the ground from Dublin, goes to air at 8pm Thursday, 7 November on Sky Sport 1.

Both shows leading up to the France and Italy matches are available across the Sky Sport channels from 7pm on 15 November and 22 November, respectively.

Rangiata Sky’s flagship rugby shows – Breakdown, Aotearoa Rugby Pod, and Rugby Nation – will continue to broadcast alongside Defender: The Ireland Saga and Northern Tour Preview Show to provide commentary, analysis, and highlights from all three remaining All Blacks tests.
