Rangiata, Sky is pleased to announce it will simulcast Whakaata Māori’s official broadcast of the Guiness World Record attempt for the world’s largest haka, Haka: Stand as a Nation, live from Eden Park.

This weekend, the world record attempt will be broadcast live on Sky Sport 3 from 7:30pm on Sunday, 29 September – as an expected 10,000 participants aim to break the record currently held by a group of 4,028 from France.

The record-breaking spectacle will also act as a fundraiser for the Raukatauri Music Therapy Trust, which helps people with disabilities through the power of music.

An array of Aotearoa’s biggest musical acts will be in attendance at Eden Park for the event, with the likes of the Topp Twins, Corrella, Ria Hall, Rob Ruha, and Alien Weaponry among those who will perform during the broadcast.

Tickets for participants and spectators are available to purchase via Ticketek.
