Toyota Community Wins Competition Specific Terms
  • Competition Name: Toyota Community Wins Competition
  • Competition provider: Sky Network Television Limited (Sky)
  • Competition sponsor: Toyota New Zealand Limited (Toyota)
  • Entry Period: The competition commences on 15/07/2024 17:00pm and finishes on 08/08/2024 17:00pm; 
  • Prize: 1 of 14 prizes comprised of $1000 worth of sports equipment for your sports club;
  • Entry Instructions: to enter the competition, tell us in 100 words or less why your sports club deserves to win $1000 worth of sports equipment; 
  • Prize Determination Date: The prize winner will be selected by Sky and Toyota representatives and will be based on the strength of the written submission in relation to how much the prize will benefit the club. Winners will be notified via email or phone call between 15/07/2024 and 08/08/2024 by a Sky representative. Notwithstanding clause 5 of the Sky Competition Terms linked below, each winner must be contactable within 48 hours of being notified as a winner, or the winner will forfeit the prize and Sky may in its sole discretion conduct a redraw and select a new winner.
  • Winners will have their sports club name featured on Sky on-air channels and Sky, Toyota and associated persons digital and social media channels.
  • Winners may be required to be filmed receiving the Prize at their sports club with club members (or similar) at a time and date of Sky’s choosing during the period between 15/07/2024 and 10/08/2024. Sky will work with entrants and sports clubs to agree on an appropriate time and date to film. If a sports club is unable to commit to an agreed film date, location and Sky’s other requirements in relation to receiving the Prize, Sky in its sole discretion may choose another winner. 
  • Winners agree to waive all rights including to talent rights and any associated fees with being filmed or featured as a competition winner. By entering this Competition, entrants agree to all intellectual property rights including copyright in any such promotional material will remain with Sky, without any claim to compensation from the entrants.
  • Entrants acknowledge and agree that:
    • a) their promotion entry comment will not contain content that is unlawful, fraudulent, or that Sky may deem in breach of any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights, and will not be otherwise defamatory, obscene, derogatory, violent, objectionable, or otherwise unsuitable for publication;
    • b) their promotion entry comment may be made available for public viewing across Sky on-air channels and Sky, Toyota and associated persons social media and digital channels;
    • c) Sky has not made any representations as to the quality or fitness for purpose of the Prize; and
    • d) the Promoter will not be liable for travel, accommodation or any other costs associated with redeeming the Prize. All such costs will be the sole responsibility of the winner. 
  • Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry and Sky’s Competition Terms.
